E-books

If you aren't the kind of person who needs to hold a book in their hands to enjoy it, you might want to try out our collection of e-books. E-books, otherwise know as electronic books, are what their name suggests, copies of published books made available in an electronic format.

Our NetLibrary collection of e-books includes over 4400 titles from a wide range of subject areas and includes subject sets of nursing and technology titles. NetLibrary books can be viewed online in 15 minute increments, or checked out. The average loan period is 24 hours. In order to check out a book, you will need to set up your own NetLibrary account. For more information on using the NetLibrary e-book collection, click here.

The Oxford Reference Online Premium Collection is an assortment of over 100 reference books that cover a wide range of subject areas and include bilingual dictionaries, quotation dictionaries, maps, and more. Holding are particularly strong in art, history, literature and science.

Our e-books, like our research databases, can be viewed from home or office if you enter your Green River Identification Number.
